Ziibaakdakaan means “sugar bush” in Ojibwe. The Chippewas of Nawash have produced maple syrup in Cape Croker Park for feasting, ceremony, and trade for centuries. Today, Ziibaakdakaan Maple provides employment opportunities for community members and supports Cape Croker Park in Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario.
